Guidelines for HOA Questions:

Our HOA attorneys are licensed to practice law in California, and consequently, we cannot answer questions concerning out of state matters. That is why we need your acknowledgment that you are in California.
While we know the law very well, we have not read your governing documents. This may limit our ability to provide an answer.
We cannot respond to questions that require a long narrative or that are vague. Your question should be designed to be answered with a short response.
While we sincerely enjoy providing this public service, there are times when we are not able to respond to every question, and sometimes our responses are not immediate. Our priority is to respond as fast as possible to as many questions as possible. The questions and answers that we believe will be of interest to a large number of readers are published on this site. Names are removed along with any non-essential facts that could possibly identify the author of the question.
